An impressionist painting of a small fiery skipper butterfly on a white coneflower.
I visited Juniper Level Botanic Garden in the summer and took way too many photos of all the beautiful plants, flowers, and ponds. Dozens of skippers (a type of butterfly) surrounded the coneflowers. One of the pictures I took then became the inspiration for this original painting!
Acrylic on canvas, 11”x14”, 1.5” thick. Wire in place, ready to hang. Frame not included. Original painting.

An impressionist painting of yellow and black tiger swallowtail butterfly enjoying garden flowers.
Tiger swallowtails are super common where I live, and so they hold a lot of nostalgia and memories of me growing up in NC. This painting was based off of a photo I took a long time ago, during a summer where I was exploring the outdoors.
Acrylic on canvas, 11”x14”, 1.5” thick. Wire in place, ready to hang. Frame not included. Original painting.

At a certain time of day, the sun shined so beautifully through the red and green leaves of the trees. Autumn was just beginning, and the dogwood tree was one of the first to change its color. The sunlight created such a serene scene that I had to paint it. Print.

An impressionistic painting of a sunrise over a park bridge in wintertime.
Back in my freshman year of college, my roommate and I wandered out to see the snow that had fallen the night before. We arrived at Pullen Park in Raleigh, and I took a photo of the scene that became a reference photo for this painting. This piece is one of my favorites, as it reminds me of my early days at NC State University.
Acrylic on canvas, 20”x20”, 1.5” thick. Wire in place, ready to hang. Float frame not included. Original.

An impressionistic painting of a desert cactus with bright purple and pink flowers. The background is a mix of green and yellow wavy brush strokes.
This painting was inspired by my travels to New Mexico, in Carlsbad Caverns National Park. I wanted to encapsulate both the vibrant life and the extreme heat of the desert. The stunning pinks, reds and purples of the flowers contrast beautifully with the earth tones of the background, really making the subject pop.
Acrylic on canvas, 16”x20”, 1.5” thick. Wire in place, ready to hang. Float frame not included. Original painting.

An impressionist painting of Saguaro cacti silhouetted against a bright moonlit sky. Water reflects the nighttime sky.
This is one of those rare paintings where I didn’t have a plan at all when I began. It evolved from a southern rural landscape with a barn, to a seascape, to a lake, and finally to a scene with cacti and the moon. You might say this is reminiscent of Starry Night by Van Gogh (and I won’t be upset about that at all).
Acrylic on canvas, 30”x24”, 1.5” thick. Wire in place, ready to hang. Float frame not included. Original painting.

Cicadas don’t give a shit. They make their presence known and don’t apologize for the way they are. I think it’s time we take a note from one of nature’s coolest critters and celebrate our uniqueness.
Perfect for adding a personal touch to water bottles, journals, or tech. Made of ECO safe PET, matte look. Size: 3”x 1.72”
Similar in theme to my Great Blue Heron painting, the Eastern Screech Owl and the Moon is inspired by the idea that the divine (whatever that might mean for you) can be found in all life. The moon symbolizes a halo, usually given to holy figures in religious imagery, but in this case it is given to a screech owl. There is so much wisdom and clarity that can be found in wild places, and I feel it deserves to be emphasized. Print.
